SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY! SLJ

 Today I register for Summer learning journey we also did a TASK it was on Art colouring book online. I coloured in two pictures they are all themed on Space. My first one is based on the ISS and my second one is on a rocket that is blasting of to space. I found it tricky to color it in because I mixed up some of it while I was coloring it in. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects shows that I can Download my art work. Next time I would do more!

Yoga Poses

  Today for Pe we were doing Yoga we had to Find a quiet space lay down a yoga mat or towel and do the Cosmic Kids Minecraft yoga lesson if we did that there was a task for the Experts I also did that for that we had to Create a poster, video or photo collage of a range of different yoga poses and their names. 

We could even try teach a little yoga lesson? I did that. I did mine on a google slide.  We had to watch a video and read 2 stories on epic. I only did 3 poses. I found it tricky to do some yoga poses that I didn't know. I found it easy to create a video. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides and add a photo and a video. Next time I would change it into a collage.

St Joseph My house Saint

Today for RE we were learning how to find facts and information. We wrote about our house saints. My house saint is St Joseph. Whose is yours? If you do not have one who is your favourite saint?  We did it on a google drawing. I found it tricky to make St Joseph out of shapes because I did not know what he looked like. So I went to this site called Ducksters and it showed lots of information and images and used that site it was my first using Ducksters. I found it easy to answer the questions. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my google drawings. Next time I would change the background into a light colour and add some images of St Joseph.

Drawing Turtles and writing super fun facts!

This is my 2cd blog post about the 2cd task and it was Science and art we had our success criteria and it was to apply knowledge and for our learn create share we had to 2 videos one was called What eats Turtles and the other was on how to Draw a Turtle then I was up to my create bit which was to Create a poster which includes 5 facts about turtles we have learnt from watching the video or researching further. Make sure our fact WOW our readers. Include a drawing of a turtle on your poster. If we don’t have anything to colour we could use pencil and here's the checklist:

I used google slides to make a post I draw my Turtle on a paper I did not shade or colour my turtle in the video the background music was from my chromebook. I did not find that background I drawed it on google drawings and Insert it looks a background. I found it tricky to Draw a turtle. I found it easy to find some WOW facts about Turtles. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides and added a video. Next time I would change the facts and color my turtle.

Lets Learn Tongan

 Did you know that this week is Tongan language week? Tonga celebrates the culture and language of the 82,389 people of Tongan heritage who live in New Zealand.

Today we had our online class we had 2 things to do this blog post is about the 1st one and it is Let's Learn Tongan we had our Learn create share to so my learn bit was to learn some words and phrases in Tongan then I was up to my create bit which was to create Google slides and make a book of how to speak Tongan. We used Mote to record yourself so you can also learn Tongan and I was up to SHARE and it was to create a quality blog post and share it. If you are playing my mote maybe we can't hear it because sometimes my Mote does not work.  The first Mote is my teacher saying Hello in english and in Tongan. I found it tricky to learn some Tongan words. I found it easy to use Mote. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides. Next time I word write some sentences.

Playing Kylah's Escape Room

 This is the 3rd blog post about the 3rd task and it was The Escape Room It is Made by Kylah here's the link to her blog Kylah's Blog. She used a website called CoSpaces Edu. On her blog she also put a video of how to create a Game. You need click on the door and answer the question if you get correct the door will be opened if you get it wrong the door will be closed. I found it tricky to complete the task. I found it easy to task a screenshot of the animals. My digital learning objects shows that I Can take a screenshots and post it on my blog. Next time I would make my own game if I can.

My persuasive Writing

This is my 2cd blog post about the 2cd task and it was writing our success criteria was to structure. We had our learn create share to do for my learn bit I had to structure a piece of persuasive writing and then I was up to my create bit and that was to Start My Persuasive Writing my share bit was to reflect on my learning and write a quality blog post. I found it tricky to write persuasive Writing. I found it easy to write about cats and dogs. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my doc on my blog. Next time I would write why Dogs are better than Cats.

I think that Cats are better than Dogs in many different ways. In this persuasive text I will tell you three reasons why cats are better than Dogs.

Firstly Cats are  softer, sweeter, and smarter but Dogs actually love training because they love having tasks and being part of a pack. Cats are hardwired to stalk, hunt, and pounce on their prey, which makes them perfect for keeping your home free of unwanted pests.

Secondly Cats are definitely not evil, mean, or vindictive by nature. Dogs help to manage and protect other animals, preventing them from running away.

Lastly Cats sometimes likes you but it is nice having a cat or a kitten. But Dogs Bark at you and chase you.

For all of these reasons above I believe that Cats are way better than Dogs.

Cats Vs Dogs

Today we had our online class we had four things to do this blog post is about the 1st task and it was reading. Our success criteria was to apply prior knowledge and opinions . we had our learn create share for learn bit we had to read 2 storys and  watch 2 videos they were both about cats and Dogs then I was up to my Create bit and it was to make a copy of our planning template then I was up to my Share bit and that was to Publish a quality blog post about what I did in my Create. We had to be creative in the way I share it. I like both but I like Cats the most they are so adorable. I found it tricky to write about cats and Dogs. I found it easy to make up a background. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my Cat vs Dogs slide. Next time I would change the background and put a dog and a cat gif if I can Find one.

Fathers Day Card

   Did you know that today is father's day Father's Day is celebrated across the world with the objective of realizing and honoring the contribution of fathers in the family. It is a day that celebrates the fatherhood,paternal bonds, and the efforts of male parents towards their family and their children.

For Father's day I made a card my my dad First I watched a video of how to make a father's card. I found it tricky to make pop out card. I found it easy to give to my dad. My digital learning objects show that I can Make a father's day card. Next time I would make a different card and make it more colorful I didn't use a lot of colours because some of my colours are at school.

Magic Science

This is the 3rd blog post about the 3rd task and it was my favourite subject Science we had to make a bouncing egg we needed Vinegar jar food colouring and a raw egg we had to fill our container with about 1 cup of vinegar and add the food colouring of our choice then carefully put the raw egg into the jar after 24 hours  you can gentle roll and bounce the eggs to see what happens. I didn't do the experiment because we ran out of eggs.I  found it tricky to fill out the slides . I found it easy make upa background. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides. Next time I would definitely try doing the experiment.

Today we had our online class we had 2 things to do this Blog post is about the 1st and it was blog log we earn 5 points for each task we had for this week .There was 15 learning task to do I did 13.  I did 13 blog post and 12 comments. I found it tricky to 13 blog post a week. I found it easy to make it onto a slide. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides. Next time I would work hard and finish all of my tasks.

This is my 2cd blog post about the 2cd task and it was Maths We had our learn create share to do for our learn bit we had to play a kahoot and watch a video and my create bit was to work on our slide template and we also could add a colour I choose the colour Rainbow. It was a Multiplication tables Chart the video I watched helped me a lot. My share bit was to create a quality blog post and share it on my blog. I found it tricky to put the right answers. I found it easy to do it in rainbow. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides on my blog. Next time I would change the colours.

Pen pal

 Today we had our online class we had three things to do this blog post is about the 1st one and it was reading our learning intention was to apply knowledge. We had our learn create share to do for my learn bit I had to read a journal and that was my learn bit then I was up to my create bit which was to create our own pen pal letter or use a template I choose to the template we had to choose someone in our family or our best friend and we had to write a letter to them when I finished my letter I took a screenshot and sent it to the person that I wrote. I wrote my letter to primrose she is my friend. I found it tricky to choose someone. I found it easy to take a screenshot. My digital learning objects shows that I can embed my slides on my blog. Next time I would choose someone in my family.

Spelling practice

 Today we had our Online class we had 1 thing to do and it was spelling since we were in Lockdown we didn't do any spelling so we did it today  we also had a learning intention for this and that was to spell unknown word. we had our learn create share to do for our learn bit we had find 10 words that I don't know to spell and had to practice them. Then I was up to my Create bit and that was to play a spelling Training Game and then complete a spelling activity slides. Them luky last I was up to my Share bit and that was to create a quality blog post. when I was doing my spelling training on the website first I had to write the words and choose some activities to do at the bottom. I only choose 9 words because I forgot that I was supposed to do 10. My words are addition,Passenger,Juice,Computer,Compete,Adventure,technology and construction. I found it tricky to do the 6th activity it was tricky because I had to make every letter rainbow using text colour.I found it easy to choose words that I don't know ( I know some words) My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides on my blog. Next time I would change the background and choose different words.

Culture writing

 Today I was bored So my mum said Maybe you could write something about culture and I said oh yes that's a nice idea thanks mum and I set to work. I only found a small amount of information it is fun finding facts about culture.  I did mine on a Google doc.I found it tricky to write the name of places in india. I found it easy to do it on a google doc. My digital learning objects show that I can CTRl C and then CTRL Shift V. Next time i would do it on a Google slide and I will choose another topic.

The colours are orange white and green they represent  the top band is of Saffron colour indicating the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with Dharma Chakra. The last band is green in colour shows the fertility growth and auspiciousness of the land and the wheel represent motion or growth.

This is my last blog post and it is about the Paralympic Games we had to watch one video and then I was up to my CREATE bit and that was to create a slide and write 5 facts about the Paralympic Games if we did not want to make a side we could use a template. We did it on a google drawing. I found it tricky to find 5 facts about the Paralympic Games. I found it easy to use a template. Wellbeing Task

This blog post is about the 2cd activity and it was a Wellbeing task we had lots of fun activities to choose from first we had to roll a dice if we didn't have a dice there was a youtube click we had to pause it was if the number is 4 we had to choose one activity from the Number four box. I choose to do draw a square and in the middle write what I was proud of.  I found it tricky to do my task because there a lot of things that I was proud of. I found it easy to roll a dice. Math Escape Room

 today we had our online class we had 4 things to do this blog post is about the 1st and it is Maths we did not have a learn create share for this but it was a fun activity it is called the Escape Room we had to link on a link and on that link there was 11 questions then there was another link that link will take me to the answer sheet we had to solve the problem and add a letter to the answer sheet and that was it.
