Matariki and Puanga

This week for Reading our success criteria was to compare and contrast we had three things to do It was our Learn create Share for my Learn bit i had to read 2 stories and 1 video Then i was up to my create bit my task for my finding  differences and similarities on a venn diagram on google slides or a piece of paper we could also work with the people in our reading groups or work in peers i worked with 2 buddies there names are Isabella and olivia here are the links to there blog Isabella's blog olivia's blog  We made the backgrounds look cool and funky if you don't know know to get a background like this go on our google slide then click background then click Google image search then type in Cool Gifs there will be a lot to choose from. I found it tricky to write about puanga the brother of Matariki . I found it easy to to do it together. My digital learning objects shows that i can embed my google slide. Next time i would change my background and not do a gif.

Reading about Matariki

 Did you that this week is Matariki? for reading our learning intention was compare and contrast it means  identifying the similarities and differences between two things. We had three things to do and that is Learn create share my learn bit was to read The eyes of tawhirimatea and Pleiades around the world stories we also had to listen to a story and watch a video called Matariki. Then i did my create part which was to discuss in my ground about the similarities and difference between all the stories that I read my group name was Avengers. So my friend Jakob shared a slide to everyone in our group there was five of us me Isabella Amelia Olivia and Jakob R also I thought that there were 7 stars but there are 9 stars. I found it tricky to write about Tawhirimatea the god of wind and Ranginui the earth Mother. I found it easy to do my work with my reading group. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my work and my groups work on my blog. Next time I would choose another Matariki background.
