My best friend's birthday

 Today it is my best friend's birthday her name is Primrose she has been my friend for a long time she is nice,Responsible. I created a card for her and I found a gif for her birthday and I will surprise her by giving the card and a gift.

SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY! SLJ

 Today I register for Summer learning journey we also did a TASK it was on Art colouring book online. I coloured in two pictures they are all themed on Space. My first one is based on the ISS and my second one is on a rocket that is blasting of to space. I found it tricky to color it in because I mixed up some of it while I was coloring it in. Catch it

 It's been a long time since I blogged so for today blog post I will be sharing writing with you my title is Catch it.  This Writing is about  when a group of meerkats tend to a beloved and unique fruit but then the evil vulture came and took it.  I found it tricky to follow my succus cerita which was to Develop a problem, Make It fun and interesting and Add descriptive language. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects shows that I can write it on my blog and publish it. Next time I would create my own story.

Here's my story!

A group of Meerkats lovingly tend to a beloved and unique fruit in the middle of the savannah. One day there peaceful existence is disrupted by a vulture intent on stealing their pride and joy. Adorable meerkats were looking at the shiny delicious fruit but then the evil mean ugly vulture cam and took the fruit the meerkats were hiding from the vulture. Meerkats were chasing the vulture then they made a meerkat chain. When they got the fruit back from the vulture they played a game of Rugby scored a 100 point but then the fruit was smashed and nobody got to  taste the shiny red fruit.

GREEN TEAM Reduce Reuse and Recycle

 HI It's been a long time since I blogged so today my blog post will be about Reduce,Re-use and Recycle. Today after morning tea we went to  Ilminster . It was not just my class, it was Room 1 Room 2 Room 11 and Room 9. We went there to watch a play from the green team. The theme was based on Reduce Reuse and Recycle. The show finished at 12:16 and we rented back to school on the bus. The people at Ilminster were nice. Their show was funny and nice. I was excited to watch their show. When we returned to school we had our lunch and our play. Then our Teacher told us to create a Reduce Re-use and Recycle poster. Our choices were create the poster on Canva,google slides or a paper I did mine on Canva. I found it easy to add stuff. I found it easy to blog about it. My digital learning objects show that I can Download my Canva and blog it. Next time I would do it on a google slide and add a background.

All About Me( With My new teacher Miss Tilley )

 Today we had our new teacher Mrs Naden has a leg surgery so we are having Miss Tilley for the year. Our first task with Miss tilley is this and it is all about me. First we did this on a paper and now on a google slide. I choose a nice background. I used avatar maker to create my avatar. I found it tricky to write this reflection. I found it easy to blog it. My marvelous Service VIDEO

 For the last one week I have been creating a Video of how to show service to others. There are many ways of showing service sometimes you tell people that you helped a little boy get back toy people only say that but sometime they don't do it. All Saints Day!

 Today I was learning all about all saints day. I did this on a google drawing. I also wrote some facts about All Saints Day. I enjoyed making a poster because we have not done one in a while.

What I found challenging was to pick a font.

I choose the Butterfly because it represents god's Beautiful creation and the cross represents that god died so we can have ours the dove is for god's peace and kindness.

Next time I would change the background color.

Camping in the Bush

 This week for reading our success cerita was to compare and contrast. we had our Learn Create share. For my Leran bit was to look at the title  and think what this book could be about and then discussion it with our group we were not spussoned to read the book. Then my Create was to Write Two simple procedural texts showing How to make something How to use something. We did this on a paper in the how to make something box I wrote how to make a paper boat and then on the next box I wrote how to use a pop it which is very simple. Then Underneath the the two boxes there was two more and in there we were writing how to compare the differences of our procedural texts. We had to write How to make texts have and How to use texts have.Then my share bit was to blog it so I won't be in CHOP CHOP. I found it tricky to right the instructions of how to make a paper boat there was not enough room the more writing. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects shows that I can take a photo and blog it. Next time I would choose to do it on a slide.

MY Frida kahlo Art

 For the last 3 weeks we have been working on  Frida kahlo's self portrait. First we had to get a white paper then draw her face and paint her face and skin the a skin colour draw the eyes nose mouth and ears. We did a thick eyebrows we also did a earring my earring colour was blue and red. We did drew a necklace and a top I drew pattens on my top my Background colour was pink and yellow. For hair we used paper tissue flowers. When I was was painting my skin colour I made some mistakes but it was okay because we learn from our Mistakes.  Frida kahlo is among the most famous mexican artists of the 1900's, Frida kahlo was six when polio led to disability ,A major accident changed her life,She painted her injuries and disabilities,On September 17th 1925 Frida and her friend Alex was riding in a bus when it crashed into a street trolley car. Kahlo could paint in her hospital bed, and had a mirror placed in the canopy, enabling Kahlo's self-portraiture. I found it tricky to choose a colour for my background. I found it easy to draw the ear mouth nose and eyes. My digital learning objects shows hat I can draw a portrait of Frida Kahlo. Next time I would choose a different colour for my top.

 Today for cybersmart Mr torrie came, for this task we had some kawa of care and it was to make the most of this opportunity to learn lots of new things and to share these with others. Always be in the right place, at the right time when online and if in doubt  ask their teacher or parent. For this task we had to use Canva it wasn't my first time using Canva I have used it this year and last year.  When we were logged on to Canva we had to click on Educational video we had two choices create a blank or use a template I used a template. First we needed a video of us saying what the video is going to be about. Then on the next page I wrote About Me then next page My favourites and next page my Three achievement this year and a fun fact about me and last page said Thanks for watching. I also put some music in. I found it tricky to put my video inside the frame. I found it easy to choose my three achievements I done this year( There were a lot to choose from ).My digital learning objects shows that I can download my video and blog it. Next time I would choose to sit in a different spot.

Reader's Theater

 This week we were doing a Reader's Theater do you know it means it is kind of like a play but we don't move around we just sit in a chair and say our parts and course we use expiration and clear voice. Our learning intention was to summarize retell in our own words and HAVE FUN! In my group there was JAkob R Amelia primrose sophia and James. We wrote our Reader's Theater on The Three little pigs. I was the mother. I found it tricky to practice my lines even though it was easy. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects show that I can CTRL SHIFT V my work. Next time I would use more expiration.

Wolf: Little pig, little pig come out or I will blow your house down. 

Swick: Not under the hair of my chinny chin chin.

Narrator: So the big bad wolf blew the house down and Swick ran to Twicks house.

Wolf: Little pig’s, little pig’s come out or I will blow your house downtown. 

Twick: Not under the hair of our chinny chin chin’s.

Narrator: So the big bad wolf blew the house down. Then 2 little pigs ran to Bick’s house.

Wolf: Little pig’s, little pig’s come out or I will blow your house down. 

All pigs together: Not under the hair of our chinny chin chin’s.

Narrator: But the big bad wolf tried as he might but he could not blow the house down. So he went through the door and fell in the pot. So the wolf went through the chimney and the pigs lit up the chimney. Then the mother called.

Mother: Are you guys all right? Did you have a good time? 

Pigs: We killed the w-o-l-f.

Everyone: Yeah!

Zombie Apocalypse!

This week on monday our Class room was a mess! The teacher called the police ( pretending ) Then she said that  the police said that there is a Zombie Apocalypse! Then she started reading a diary. There was Day 1 to Day 5 our success criteria was to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse! I did this with Primrose and iSabella we created a slide and put everything on it. Our teacher said that we need a Zombie looking background.  We also wrote some facts about Zombie Apocalypse. I found it tricky to write all the answers. I found it easy to write how to survive a Zombie Apocalypse. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides to my blog. Next time I would write more facts and change the background.

September Student Reflection Newsletter

My Speech

This week we were writing speeches he had our learning intention and success certia I will tell them later first we had to choose a good topic to write about I choose my topic on Plastic pollution. my two friends also wrote about Plastic pollution but we didn't copy each other's work because that is not being CyberSMART. Our learning intention was to use emotive language it mean it is the term used when certain word choices are made to evoke an emotional response in the reader and our success criteria was to use words like ‘undoubtedly’ and ‘obvious’ (from the pink list) and I have used one-two in each paragraph( If you don't mean what it meant  it means I have used on one or two words from the oink list in each paragraph).  We had two choices there were that we could choose to write about a different topic or write about Mr wolf is Guilty. I choose to write about a different topic and that was plastic pollution. I found it tricky to write lots of information about plastic pollution because there were lots and lots of information. I found it easy to write my pepeha in my own language but I also translated it in English so you know what I wrote. I found it challenging to voice type my pepeha because sometimes it doesn't come up with the correct words. My digital learning objects shows that I can CTRL C and CTRL SHIFT V my work on to my blog. Next time I would write about a interesting topic.

I firmly believe that Everyone should  stop Plastic pollution. Plastic floats in the waters, the animals eat them and they die. Throughout this piece of writing I will tell you my Three reasons of why we should stop putting plastic in the beaches,seas,rivers and the ocean.There are 7 types of plastic.

Firstly The effects of plastic pollution have a deadly effect on wildlife. Thousands of turtles, seals and other marine mammals are killed each year from plastic. Plastic pollution can be found on every beach in the world.

Secondly Did you know that turtles think plastic bags  are Jellyfish? Turtles  are attracted to plastic bags which resemble jellies when floating in the water. Eating them often leads to death.

Thirdly

For years and years plastic waste has been dumped directly into the ocean. Toxic chemicals leach out of plastic and  are found in the blood and tissue of nearly all of us. 

 Lucky Last Plastic is Everywhere! 1,220 species of animals are affected by plastic. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues. 

Every year about 8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans from coastal nations. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.

In conclusion I would like to say

That we all should stop plastic pollution. It is really bad for the ocean.
