Catch it

 It's been a long time since I blogged so for today blog post I will be sharing writing with you my title is Catch it.  This Writing is about  when a group of meerkats tend to a beloved and unique fruit but then the evil vulture came and took it.  I found it tricky to follow my succus cerita which was to Develop a problem, Make It fun and interesting and Add descriptive language. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects shows that I can write it on my blog and publish it. Next time I would create my own story.

Here's my story!

A group of Meerkats lovingly tend to a beloved and unique fruit in the middle of the savannah. One day there peaceful existence is disrupted by a vulture intent on stealing their pride and joy. Adorable meerkats were looking at the shiny delicious fruit but then the evil mean ugly vulture cam and took the fruit the meerkats were hiding from the vulture. Meerkats were chasing the vulture then they made a meerkat chain. When they got the fruit back from the vulture they played a game of Rugby scored a 100 point but then the fruit was smashed and nobody got to  taste the shiny red fruit.

The Dragon Slayer

  For the past few days, my class was learning how to structure narratives. A narrative is a fiction type of book. For our first narrative, we had to watch a film called 'Dragon slayer'. We had to write 'Dragon Slayer' into a narrative. I was really excited because I never wrote a narrator before.I choose to write about the Dragon Slayer my learn bit was to watch a video about the dragon slayer and think how the problem is introduced,developed and resolved. Our create bit was to choose our own narrator and write about that first he had to brainstorm what I was going to write. My share bit was to blog it. I did this on Canva. I didn't really find anything tricky.I found it easy to write about the Dragon slayer. My digital learning objects shows that I can download my Canva. Next time I would make it more interesting.

It's been a long time since I blogged about something, In this blog post I will tell you what I did for writing today. We were filling in your September Student Reflection Newsletter. We had to write about what we were reading in class ,Our survila of Zombie apocalypse,Speeches,Reader's Theater,This month I am proud of and lucky last my september selfie. We did this on a google drawings. I found it tricky to write what i was proud of. I found it easy to select a background. My Speech

This week we were writing speeches he had our learning intention and success certia I will tell them later first we had to choose a good topic to write about I choose my topic on Plastic pollution. my two friends also wrote about Plastic pollution but we didn't copy each other's work because that is not being CyberSMART. Our learning intention was to use emotive language it mean it is the term used when certain word choices are made to evoke an emotional response in the reader and our success criteria was to use words like ‘undoubtedly’ and ‘obvious’ (from the pink list) and I have used one-two in each paragraph( If you don't mean what it meant  it means I have used on one or two words from the oink list in each paragraph).  We had two choices there were that we could choose to write about a different topic or write about Mr wolf is Guilty. I choose to write about a different topic and that was plastic pollution. I found it tricky to write lots of information about plastic pollution because there were lots and lots of information. I found it easy to write my pepeha in my own language but I also translated it in English so you know what I wrote. I found it challenging to voice type my pepeha because sometimes it doesn't come up with the correct words. My digital learning objects shows that I can CTRL C and CTRL SHIFT V my work on to my blog. Next time I would write about a interesting topic.

I firmly believe that Everyone should  stop Plastic pollution. Plastic floats in the waters, the animals eat them and they die. Throughout this piece of writing I will tell you my Three reasons of why we should stop putting plastic in the beaches,seas,rivers and the ocean.There are 7 types of plastic.

Firstly The effects of plastic pollution have a deadly effect on wildlife. Thousands of turtles, seals and other marine mammals are killed each year from plastic. Plastic pollution can be found on every beach in the world.

Secondly Did you know that turtles think plastic bags  are Jellyfish? Turtles  are attracted to plastic bags which resemble jellies when floating in the water. Eating them often leads to death.

Thirdly

For years and years plastic waste has been dumped directly into the ocean. Toxic chemicals leach out of plastic and  are found in the blood and tissue of nearly all of us. 

 Lucky Last Plastic is Everywhere! 1,220 species of animals are affected by plastic. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues. 

Every year about 8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans from coastal nations. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.

In conclusion I would like to say

That we all should stop plastic pollution. It is really bad for the ocean.

My persuasive Writing

This is my 2cd blog post about the 2cd task and it was writing our success criteria was to structure. We had our learn create share to do for my learn bit I had to structure a piece of persuasive writing and then I was up to my create bit and that was to Start My Persuasive Writing my share bit was to reflect on my learning and write a quality blog post. I think that Cats are better than Dogs in many different ways. In this persuasive text I will tell you three reasons why cats are better than Dogs.

Firstly Cats are  softer, sweeter, and smarter but Dogs actually love training because they love having tasks and being part of a pack. Cats are hardwired to stalk, hunt, and pounce on their prey, which makes them perfect for keeping your home free of unwanted pests.

Secondly Cats are definitely not evil, mean, or vindictive by nature. Dogs help to manage and protect other animals, preventing them from running away.

Lastly Cats sometimes likes you but it is nice having a cat or a kitten. But Dogs Bark at you and chase you.

For all of these reasons above I believe that Cats are way better than Dogs.

Pen pal

 Today we had our online class we had three things to do this blog post is about the 1st one and it was reading our learning intention was to apply knowledge. We had our learn create share to do for my learn bit I had to read a journal and that was my learn bit then I was up to my create bit which was to create our own pen pal letter or use a template I choose to the template we had to choose someone in our family or our best friend and we had to write a letter to them when I finished my letter I took a screenshot and sent it to the person that I wrote. I wrote my letter to primrose she is my friend. I found it tricky to choose someone. I found it easy to take a screenshot. My digital learning objects shows that I can embed my slides on my blog. Next time I would choose someone in my family.

Penguins

 Today I was bored and didn't know what to do so I thought of writing about Penguins I wrote my brainstorm on  a slide and I wrote the real report on a doc I couldn't post my brainstorm because somehow I accidently deleted it.I found it tricky to do without instructions. I found it easy to choose a topic. My digital learning objects show that I can write a report about Penguins. Next time I would choose another topic.

penguins are birds although they are flightless birds. Lots of people think penguins are mammals rather than birds because they can't fly

 Penguin habitats include oceans and coasts. They generally live on islands and remote continental regions with few land predators.

 Today I was bored So my mum said Maybe you could write something about culture and I said oh yes that's a nice idea thanks mum and I set to work. I only found a small amount of information it is fun finding facts about culture.  I did mine on a Google doc.I found it tricky to write the name of places in india. I found it easy to do it on a google doc. My digital learning objects show that I can CTRl C and then CTRL Shift V. Next time i would do it on a Google slide and I will choose another topic.

What is Culture?

Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts. Culture is our homeland and we all love our culture.

HI My culture is India. I was born in India. My mum and dad were also born in india. In India there are lots of places, for example Tamilnadu,Goa,Mumbai,and the Golden temple.The capital of India is New Delhi. I live in Kerala. It is the 2cd biggest country in India. Did you know that it took 200 years to build The Taj mahal?

What colour is the flag of india

The colours are orange white and green they represent  the top band is of Saffron colour indicating the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with Dharma Chakra. The last band is green in colour shows the fertility growth and auspiciousness of the land and the wheel represent motion or growth.

Online writing

 Today we had our online we had three things to do this blog post is about the 1st one it is writing our learning intention was to sucture. We had our three things to do LEARN CREATE SHARE for our LEARN bit we had to watch a video and then I was up to my CREATE bit which was to see a slide deck that will help me record my thoughts feelings and experiences during lockdown. There was 10 activities to do I did six it was fun doing them.  I did not finish some of my activities.I found it tricky to do these six activities. I found it easy to write information. Today I had my online class there were 3 tasks to do this blog post is about the 1st one it was about writing,We did have a learning intention for and it was to Structure an information report we also had success criteria and it was to

Introduction -

I will have a title (the name)

I will have a hook (question)

I will state what I am going to write about

Body

I will write the subheading

I will use the keywords to write sentences

I will re read my sentences to make sure they make sense

I start a new paragraph / subtitle

I will do the same for all parts of my plan

Conclusion

I will share my own reflection / personal thoughts about the topic

WE had to write about Composting. We had to read 2 articles that were based on compost. I found it tricky to follow the success criteria. I found it easy to write about composting. Did you know that Composting can be a great way to use food lost to landfills.

What is it

Compost is a mixture of ingredients used to fertilize and improve the soil. Brown + Green = Compost  Material like leaves straw and shredded wood along with grass and vegetable scraps combine water air and high temperatures creates an environment for materials to break down.

How is it made?

It is commonly prepared by decomposing plant and food waste and recycling organic materials.organic scraps(vegetable peels,fruit waste,plant clipping and grass cutting) turn into a material called Compost.

The benefits of composting

Enriches soil, helping retain moisture and suppress plant diseases and pests.

It Adds nutrients to the soil. Compost is humans—nutrient-rich soil

It Recycles kitchen and yard waste

It is really Good for the environment!

 This week for writing our success cerita was to structure we had to do three things LEARN CREATE SHARE for our LEARN bit we had to reassemble a report of lions then we had to read Tyrannosaurus Rex i did not read because i didn't go to school then i was up to my CREATE bit which was to choose our favourite wild animal research facts about my choose animal we had to remember to make a note if the websites i used so i can add it to my references. We had write it in our brainstorm. I found it tricky to find a wild animal and i also found it tricky to find a tiger background( If you can't read what i wrote on my slide sorry) I found it easy to write about tigers.  How are Rainbows formed?

A rainbow is a multi-coloured arc in the sky. Did you know white light is made up of 7 colours?

Rainbows can only be seen when rain and sun happens at the same time. Raindrops act as small prism! Put a mirror in a glass of water in a dark room. Shine a torch and place a paper over it and it breaks up the sun's white light into a rainbow the 7 colours. Light comes in and bends to form different light rays! No 2 people see a rainbow the same ,beeave everyone is at a different angle to see the prims in the raindrops. Rainbows can be seen in mist fog and spray.

Hook The amazing beach

 This week for writing we were writing a hook to grab the reader's Attention. I wrote about the amazing beach. I found it tricky to write a hook. I found it easy to write my hook on Canva.  Today Mrs Naden said that we could choose a story from our writing book and write it on Canva or something else i did it on Canva and download it. I made the words look more colorful and beautiful if it is hard to read on a blue background sorry i will change it cause we had to finish it quickly and do another blog post so if i get time i will change it.
