St Joseph My house Saint

Today for RE we were learning how to find facts and information. We wrote about our house saints. My house saint is St Joseph. Whose is yours? If you do not have one who is your favourite saint?  We did it on a google drawing. I found it tricky to make St Joseph out of shapes because I did not know what he looked like. So I went to this site called Ducksters and it showed lots of information and images and used that site it was my first using Ducksters. I found it easy to answer the questions. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my google drawings. Next time I would change the background into a light colour and add some images of St Joseph.

Saint Anne

This blog post is about the 3rd task and it was Religious Education we had to research about a saint and we also had to answer some questions about our chosen saint. I choose Saint Anne she is the mother of Mary and the grandmother of Jesus. First I tried to do it on we video but then I thought that I will do it on a Google slide. I found it tricky to research about Saint Anne. i found it easy to create it on a slide. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slide son my blog. Next time I would do it on wevideo.

Faith and Trust(Word cloud)

 Today we had our online class we had three tasks to do this blog post is about the 1st one we did not have a learning intention for this,we had to go to a website called word cloud and we had to find synonyms for trust and faith and write them in a box. I found wrote 13 words but when I chose my shape some of my words did not appear. I found it tricky to find words about faith and trust it was a bit tricky. I found it easy to choose a shape can you guess what shape I used? My digital learning objects shows that I can Download my work and post it on my blog. Next time I would write different words and change the background.

Assumption of Mary

Back to lockdown again This is a little prayer about covid 19

Lord Jesus, give us the grace to hear your voice,

And the strength to continue working for your kingdom in this time of pandemic.

Do not allow us to be indifferent to those who today suffer the loss of a loved one, or who suffer from the absence of work.

But give us the courage to accompany and side with those who suffer violence or injustice. Amen.

Stay home Stay Safe

Today we had our 9:30 online class we had three tasks this blog post is about the 1st task which is about the Assumption of mary that was on sunday but today our work was to learn about Mary we had to make a word cloud of words about Mary on word cloud there was also a induction video of how to use word could it was my first time using word cloud it was bit tricky to find what I needed but I still got one with my learning. I done my work on a heart. I found it tricky to find words about Marys. I found it easy to choose a nice font and a nice shape. My digital learning objects shows that i can use word cloud( it was fun using word cloud) Next time I would change my words,font,colour and shape.

I will make a blog post about the second task!

Ascension of Jesus

 This week for Religious Education we were creating a google drawing off Jesus's  Ascension we had to use on google drawing cause if we do drawing some of us do it on paper or google slides so for this our teacher said we have to use google drawings. I found it tricky to find photos of the disciples because if we search something on the internet we have go on to tools then usage rights.' then creative common licence. I found it easy to find a bible verse. Mt digital learning objects shows that i can embed my google drawings. Next time i would change the bible verse.

Teaching the five year old's how to make the sign of the cross!!

 This week we had  a job for Miss Steele. While she is not teaching this year she is creating a Religious Education resource for kids all over NZ to use. So the job was to create a slide a video or a screencastify showing how to make the sign of the cross. I did a screencastify. I found it tricky to choose a nice background where there was no noise and also the 2cd tricky thing was that I had to take 4 videos. On the 1st and 2nd one there were people walking behind me so I could not make my screencastify and on the fifth one that I took I nailed it. I found it easy to create a screencastify and share it to Miss Steele. I found it challenging to find a nice quiet place where there was no one walking behind me and also it was like a challenge. My digital learning objects show that I can embed my screencastify and blog it. Next time I would go and choose another background.
