SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY! SLJ

 Today I register for Summer learning journey we also did a TASK it was on Art colouring book online. I coloured in two pictures they are all themed on Space. My first one is based on the ISS and my second one is on a rocket that is blasting of to space. I found it tricky to color it in because I mixed up some of it while I was coloring it in. I found it easy to blog it. My digital learning objects shows that I can Download my art work. Next time I would do more!

MY Frida kahlo Art

 For the last 3 weeks we have been working on  Frida kahlo's self portrait. First we had to get a white paper then draw her face and paint her face and skin the a skin colour draw the eyes nose mouth and ears. We did a thick eyebrows we also did a earring my earring colour was blue and red. We did drew a necklace and a top I drew pattens on my top my Background colour was pink and yellow. For hair we used paper tissue flowers. When I was was painting my skin colour I made some mistakes but it was okay because we learn from our Mistakes.  Frida kahlo is among the most famous mexican artists of the 1900's, Frida kahlo was six when polio led to disability ,A major accident changed her life,She painted her injuries and disabilities,On September 17th 1925 Frida and her friend Alex was riding in a bus when it crashed into a street trolley car. Kahlo could paint in her hospital bed, and had a mirror placed in the canopy, enabling Kahlo's self-portraiture. I found it tricky to choose a colour for my background. I found it easy to draw the ear mouth nose and eyes. My digital learning objects shows hat I can draw a portrait of Frida Kahlo. Next time I would choose a different colour for my top.

Drawing Turtles and writing super fun facts!

This is my 2cd blog post about the 2cd task and it was Science and art we had our success criteria and it was to apply knowledge and for our learn create share we had to 2 videos one was called What eats Turtles and the other was on how to Draw a Turtle then I was up to my create bit which was to Create a poster which includes 5 facts about turtles we have learnt from watching the video or researching further. Make sure our fact WOW our readers. Include a drawing of a turtle on your poster. If we don’t have anything to colour we could use pencil and here's the checklist:

I have included 5 WOW facts about turtles.

I have drawn a picture of a turtle.

I used google slides to make a post I draw my Turtle on a paper I did not shade or colour my turtle in the video the background music was from my chromebook. I did not find that background I drawed it on google drawings and Insert it looks a background. I found it tricky to Draw a turtle. I found it easy to find some WOW facts about Turtles. My digital learning objects shows that I can Embed my slides and added a video. Next time I would change the facts and color my turtle.

Making a flower Using sticks leaves and flowers!(Nature Art)

 This is the 2cd blog post about the 2cd activity it was ART we did not have a learning intention for this. We had to watch 2 videos and read a article about Andy Goldsworthy's Nature art.We had to create a sculpture or artwork using

Water in Nature I used sticks and flowers I made a colourful flower using different colored flowers it was fun mixing the flower so it would look like a colourful flower. I found it tricky to mix the colours. I found it easy to make a colourful flower. My digital learning objects show that I make a colourful flower. Next time I would make something else.

Tom Fedro Art

 This week for art our learning intention was to use painting techniques and our success criteria was to use
Long Brush strokes,
Both sides of the paint brush
Bright colours
Bold lines 
Tints and shades to show light direction. 
The real artist was Tom Fedro.

Some facts about Tom Fedro

Tom's Real name is Thomes 

He owned his own art gallery but  now he just sells them

He is a Pop Artist

This is what we did

  We had drawn a picture in pencil then we did our shading without going over the lines then we coloured in the outline with black paint and then we did our eyes. Then we shaded the hair with colours making light to dark by adding white to colours to make them lighter.

 
Did you know that Tom Fedro was born on 1969? He done lots and lots and arts. My favourite art are the pop arts there are so wonderful. 
 I found it tricky to follow his art. I found it easy to paint and shade because shading was a bit easy for me but with a little help. I found it challenging to draw and blend colours in. My digital learning objects show that I can embed my Tom Fedro Art work. Next time I would do different colours and different shadings.

Tapa cloth

Did you know that this week is samoa week? Since it is samoa week for art we make a Tapa cloth to make a tapa cloth first we had to get a hard paper then fold it in half and then draw a samoan pattern with your pencil if you make a mistake just rub it out you can choose how many patterns you want i only did two samoan patterns. When you finish the drawing the pattern use a crayon and colour the strips in. And the final job dye it with a brown colour then we have finished our TAPA CLOTH! I found it tricky to choose a amazing pattern. I found it easy to dye the Tapa cloth brown. I found it challenging to finish my Tapa cloth because i didn't want to get in chop chop on Fridays. My digital learning objects shows that i can Embed a photo of my Tapa cloth and post it on my blog. Next time i would choose different patterns.

Optical Illusion

This week i was learning to make connections between what we.I found it tricky to create a Optical illusion with the shapes and polyline and curve line.I found it easy to make a Optical Illusion.It was challenging to make one because our teacher said we are not allowed to copy and paste another people's Optical Illusions so we had to create our one Optical Illusion.My digital objects shows that i can Embed Optical Illusion Slides.Next time i would change my Optical Illusion,background gif,font.
